“Dear Jennie,
I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for all that Burch Creek Home Health and Hospice has done for the Alzheimer‘s Association and the community. The Burch Creek Alzheimer’s Respite Care program provides quality respite care at no cost to families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementias.
I have observed the respite staff interacting with the individuals left in their care and see a sincere interest in their wellbeing. I have heard comments from the caregivers that when they leave the person with dementia in the care of Burch Creek employees, they feel their loved-one will be safe and well care for.
Your generosity in providing respite are; again at no cost, to the persons with dementia during the Alzheimer’s Association Counseling the Alzheimer’s Caregiver (CTAC) has greatly improved the caregiver’s experience in the counseling process. Your generosity also extends to allowing Burch Creek’s social worker and nursing staff to be involved as co-facilitators in the CTAC groups.
One of the Alzheimer’s Association core services is Information and Referrals. Because I feel confident in the quality of services and integrity of your agency, I have referred several of my clients to Burch Creek Home Health and Hospice for services.
As a member of the community, I applaud your continued effort to give caregivers a much needed break through your community Alzheimer’s Respite Care program and quality services to families.
Sincerely,
L.O.”
“It is my privilege to be an individual receiving services from your outstanding organization. For 2 days nurses have been shuttling me to various charitable organizations, to procure food for me and my wife. On Friday the 28th (the nurse) took me to 2 organizations’ whom failed to give me information as to all documentation I would need to receive their services, consequently I received no assistance from them. I was facing the reality of making half a jar of peanut butter, and 2 packages of top ramen, sustain me and my wife for 13 days. After (the nurse) dropped me off at my home, she returned an hour later with a plethora of good nutritious varieties of food, donated by your organization.
I will not belabor the fact that this was a magnanimous, generous, moving, CHRISTIAN, act that turned a scary situation into one of hope, and positive faith in people and a reflection on your organization, that shows that you are kind, generous, gracious and wonderful people.
Since the moment that (the nurse) came to my apartment and took my personal information, BURCHCREEK and all your representatives have been literally an ANGEL on my shoulder. It is frightening and humiliating to be in the situation I WAS in, and I have had my fair share of anger and frustration at bureaucracy, and failure of organizations’ whom tout service and charity and dispense indifference and disappointment. Your organization is the very epitome of humanity and the goodness and concern that still gives humanity a hope of a noble destiny.
GOD bless you people and may you receive the rewards that you graciously give to others. And personally, thank you from a full heart, and a full stomach.
Yours D. P.”
“Jennie and staff: Mere words cannot express our deepest appreciation for all you have done for Velma and our family over the past six years. You have become like family to us. Velma loved you as do we. Love, R. and V. C.”
“I want to thank you for the wonderful care that was given by the CNA’s that were scheduled at my home in Farr West.
The care they gave was helpful and professional. This kept me from going into the hospital.
I hope this letter can be used as evidence to the city, state, and counties the benefits that patients can have to stay at home
J.Z.”

“Dear Friends at BurchCreek Nursing Services
I wish to thank you for providing rides to the 1st Presbyterian Church for me. It has been my church for 66 years so you made me happy to go. The driver was so careful and helpful. In Christian Love, M.F.”
